Sausage French Bread Pizza Recipe

Welcome to The Family Recipe Place. Today I have a simple and delicious recipe.



Forget to lay something out for dinner? Don't know what to make and need to feed your friends, spouse or kids?



No problem! This recipe is perfect for last minute and takes absolutely no time to prepare. All you need is a few ingredients and voila dinner is served.

French Bread Pizza




This recipe is so easy to make and you can make it with any toppings you like. No dough required.



There are many different ways to make this recipe.



Extra cheese, meat toppings, vegetarian with just veggies.



What You Need:


  • 1 loaf of French bread, sliced lengthwise.
  • Olive Oil
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Parsley
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese


For Extra Cheese Pizza, use extra Mozzarella, Cheddar, Colby. Whichever cheese you prefer just double it.



For Meat Pizza, use pepperoni, ham, meatballs, sausage, capicola, shredded chicken, shaved steak. Whichever you prefer.



For Vegetarian Pizza, use chopped Eggplant, chopped Zucchini, chopped or sliced Peppers, mushrooms, olives, spinach, escarole, sliced or chopped Onion.





Preparation:



1. Slice the French Bread lengthwise and both inside pieces with Olive Oil. Place on a baking sheet lined with foil or spray with non-stick cooking spray.



2. Sprinkle generously with your Oregano, Basil, Parsley, and Garlic and Parmesan Cheese.



3. Broil just until lightly toasted and golden brown. Remove from the oven.



4. Top with sauce and your toppings of choice. Drizzle with a little more Olive Oil.



5. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted and is light golden brown. Remove from the oven.



6. Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting and serving to allow it to cool.



7. Slice and enjoy.
